Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior. ABA refers to a set of principles that focus on how behaviors change, or are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. The ultimate goal of ABA is to establish and enhance socially significant behaviors. Through applied behavior analysis, we create positive interactions within our client’s home and a deeper involvement within their community and schools. Treatment starts by listening to the needs and concerns of every member of the treatment team. Parents and caregivers are recognized as valuable members of our client’s treatment team and a deeply collaborative relationship is established early on. We then create a treatment package placing a strong focus on the use of a parent coaching element, which is proven to promote greater generalization and independence across all areas of life. Treatment plans are evaluated and revised to continually meet the needs of our clients and continue to create the most positive experience for them and their families.
